KAPEX is a bipedal humanoid prototype jointly advanced by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), LG Electronics, and LG AI Research for real-world task trials across domestic, industrial, and public-service environments. The publicly demonstrated robot is about 170 cm tall, weighs in the 60 kg range, and can handle loads up to 20 kg.
