Figure 02 was Figure AI's second-generation biped humanoid, unveiled on August 6, 2024 for manufacturing and logistics work. It stood about 1.70 m tall, weighed 70 kg and carried 20 kg, with a 2.25 kWh torso battery, six RGB cameras, 16 active degrees of freedom per hand, and onboard speech and vision-language models. During its 2025 deployment at BMW Plant Spartanburg, the fleet accumulated more than 1,250 operating hours and contributed to over 30,000 X3 vehicles. Figure AI retired the Figure 02 fleet after introducing Figure 03.
