Borg 01 is a modular industrial humanoid being developed by Borg Robotics in Detroit for repetitive, physically demanding and hard-to-fill factory, warehouse and logistics jobs. Official posts state that it can switch autonomously between bipedal and wheeled bases and rapidly exchange vacuum grippers, dual grippers and five-finger hands. The wheeled configuration is rated for up to six hours per charge, while planned end effectors are rated up to 12 kg. Borg Robotics announced a 2025 launch target, but its current website still labels the system in development and publishes no price, total-DOF figure or maximum speed.
